Technology – How does it work?

• The fractional laser delivers an optimized wavelength (1470 nm) that selectively penetrates the skin.

• The handpiece scans the surface, creating micro-thermal columns in the epidermis and dermis.

• These controlled micro-injuries trigger a dermal repair response, promoting collagen stimulation and tissue remodeling.

• The treatment can be customized with over 40 laser scanning levels and three application sizes (100%, 50%, 10%).

• A contact sensor system ensures safety and precision during use.

Sessions

• A standard initial program includes 3 sessions, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. This allows progressive and cumulative collagen stimulation, resulting in a significant improvement in skin quality.

Preparation

• Thoroughly cleanse the treatment area.

• Apply a topical anesthetic if needed, depending on the patient’s tolerance.

• Explain the treatment goals, possible sensations (warmth / tingling), and the follow-up plan.

How a session works

• Position the patient comfortably and protect the eyes with dedicated safety goggles.

• Adjust the laser settings according to the skin phototype, the indication (surface resurfacing vs. scars), and the treated area.

• Scan the area with the handpiece using the appropriate density levels.

• The session usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the treated zones.

• Immediate cooling and soothing care is applied after the session.

Aftercare

• Mild redness or a warm sensation may occur for a few hours.

• Normal daily activities can be resumed without interruption.

• Hydration and strict sun protection are highly recommended.

• Soothing skincare products may be used according to your internal protocol.
